Latin Corner Cuban Restaurant

The diversity of southern Louisiana cuisine is wide and expansive. One of the more popular eating establishments in Morgan City is the Latin Corner Cuban Restaurant. They sell a variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and tropical shakes. They offer daily lunch specials Monday through Friday, including picadillo with fried plantains, grilled chicken breast, shrimp fettuccine and Cuban style roast pork with rice and black beans. They serve baby back ribs every evening, along with shrimp sandwiches, chorizo sandwiches and the traditional Cuban sandwich with ham, pork, pickles, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise and mustard.

Amelia Belle Casino

The Amelia Belle Casino, located in Amelia Louisiana, offers one of the best Cajun buffets in all of southern Louisiana. Guests can enjoy a delicious South Louisiana meal in a beautiful setting. Every Friday, the Amelia Belle Casino offers a seafood feast, along with their infamous Italian buffet, on specific Sundays throughout the year. Traditionally, the buffet serves a variety of seafood and meats including barbecue beef brisket, barbecue chicken, ribs, soups, salads, corn on the cob and more.

Morgan’s Restaurant

Located on Roderick St., in Morgan City Louisiana, Morgan’s Restaurant offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu. This includes Louisiana crab cakes, hurricane quesadillas (shrimp, steak or chicken), surf & turf, porterhouse steaks, baby back ribs, shrimp, Norwegian salmon and Redfish. They also offer traditional southern Louisiana favorites including Creole gumbo, drunken shrimp or chicken, shrimp scampi and with a variety of po boy sandwiches and a selection of oysters, shrimp or fish. Bayou Lagniappe
