With nearly 200 golf courses all across Louisiana, the state provides year-round golfing at some of the best destinations in the South. From Lake Charles to Jefferson Parish, and everywhere in between, there is a golf course close by, no matter where you are in the state. Known for its Bermuda grass courses, Louisiana provides a drought resistant and durable golfing experience year-round.

  • The TPC Course – Situated in Avondale, Louisiana, the TPC Golf Course of Louisiana is 7010 yards long. It provides a par 72 experience with a 73.9 course rating. A Pete Dye design, the TPC of Louisiana golf course has been open since 2006 and is perhaps its most recognizable golf course as it is home to the Zurich Classic each year.
  • The Gray Plantation GC – Located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the golf course at Gray Plantation is 6946 yards long on Bermuda grass. The 18-hole, par 72 golf course is a Rocky Roquemore design that has been open since 1999.
  • Oak Harbor GC – Located in Slidell, Louisiana, this golf course is a “must play” for those seeking a links golf experience. The 18-hole championship layout is worthy of its critical acclaim, rated 4.5 Stars by "Golf Digest Places to Play." With a large practice facility and beautiful clubhouse, Oak Harbor promises a full day of challenging golf for any skill level.
  • Southern Oaks GC – Located in Houma, Louisiana, this 9 hole course makes for a great round of golf. Sand traps, water, and elevated greens help defend the course.  A large practice green and separate chipping green is overlooked by the clubhouse.  Southern Oaks offers attractive greens fees as well as daily specials.
  • The Metairie Country Club – The golf course at the Metairie Country Club holds a course rating of 71.1. A Ron Forse/Seth Raynor/Arthur Delay design, this Metairie Bermuda grass golf course has been open since 2003. At 6600 yards long, this par 72, 18-hole course is in the heart of the New Orleans community.
  • The Atchafalaya GC – Situated in Idlewild Louisiana, the golf club at Atchafalaya is a 7533 yard course, rated at 73.1 on Bermuda grass. A Robert von Hagge design, this 18-hole course is built around 10 native wetland areas and five lakes.
  • Squirrel Run GC – Located in New Iberia, Louisiana, in the heart of Cajun Country, Squirrel run boasts 27 holes of fun just right for an outing with family or friends.  World renowned architect John Lee has created a beautiful mix of challenging golf while incorporating the scenic backdrop of southern Louisiana, including a great variety of water and tree lined holes.  Also, Squirrel Run's greens are planted with Champions Grass, for the smoothest putting surface anywhere!
  • Stonebridge GC – Located just minutes from downtown New Orleans in Gretna, Louisiana (Jefferson Parish), Stonebridge offers visitors a full taste of southern Louisiana showcasing canals, bayous, reptiles and waterfowl all throughout its 27 holes of challenging golf.  With a links-style course design featuring over 100 sand traps, players can adjust their skill level to the course by choosing from our six sets of tees.
