Louisiana LOVES to celebrate! We celebrate life every day, our festivals and events just happen to be a way to share our celebrating. In fact, we have more festivals than there are days in the year, so you can always find something going on! Our list of Louisiana's Coastal festivals and events provide you with some of the main happenings throughout the year, but be sure to check our full calendar for more information.

Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show

The Third Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show is in April. The show starts Friday at 6 p.m. and continues through Sunday. We've progressed from a single-day show, to two days and now for the full weekend. The show is held in conjunction with the Bayou Teche Black Bear and Birding festival along Parc sur la Teche in the historic district of downtown Franklin.

Please join us, either as a participant or a viewer, for what has become the fastest growing wooden boat event in Louisiana.
