Mardi Gras Louisiana Coast

Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras on the Louisiana Coast is unlike any other! The area boasts the second largest Mardi Gras outside of New Orleans, and many of our parades include masterfully-decorated floats as big as those in the Big Easy, as well as a "gazillion" beads, doubloons and other "throws," and our family-friendly atmosphere draws crowds from all over the region. Our Louisiana "joie de vivre"  or 'joy of living" is showcased in the Cajun corridor all along our coastline. Make sure to check out our events page for specifics on Mardi Gras parades.
